Dick Marshall was a long time member of the language support groups we run here at UConn. I remember him best for how he talked about his beloved family. He was our weekly comic relief, often regaling us with stories of his past adventures and misdeeds. Last year he passed away and his family organized a corn hole tournament to raise money to support our aphasia programming. This money will be used to help participants fund travel to and from groups, to purchase computer apps for participants in need, to subsidize any group outings, and for annual holiday parties, among other things. We are grateful to the Marshall family and we will miss Mr. Marshall very much.
