The Aphasia Rehab Lab just put out a new publication in the Journal of Communication Disorders talking about the results of our survey of SLPs on the assessment, treatment, and discharge of people with mild aphasia. We dedicate this work to the memory of Bob Hasselberger who was a long time UConn aphasia group member.  Bob participated in several research studies, was a mentor to those with a recent aphasia diagnosis, lectured in courses about the realities of living with aphasia.  Bob also initiated the Advancing Aphasia Research Fund in 2017 and sat on the board to help make decision on the direction of research.  The survey in the publication above was the result of one of those decisions.  Bob died on February 16, 2020 at the age of 54.  We miss him already.
