Participate in Treatment Studies

If you have aphasia or have other language difficulty due to stroke, we would love to hear from you. New treatment studies begin periodically.

Studies are conducted at the University of Connecticut Speech and Hearing Clinic.
Studies include investigations of:
1) Changes in spoken language following an intensive treatment schedule.

2) Cognitive change as a result of rigorous language treatment.
3) Brain changes after treatment.
4) Quality of life changes following small group language therapy.
